I'm back!

Well, I'm home now! I have many stories to tell, and pictures to show, but right now I don't have much time for that. Instead, I'll be lazy and just copy and paste a part of an email that I just wrote to a friend...

My family and I got back last night, we had a lot of fun! my grandpa taught us some spanish...enough to pick up boys and read a menu. That's all you need to survive! lol! My mom asked my grandpa what me and my sister should say to chase away the boys and he said with a tinkle in his eye, "te caro mucho" (not sure on the spelling). We asked him what that phrase meant and he said, "I care alot for you". That's my grandpa's humor alright. I never trusted him when he told me to say something to the spanish people out there. He kept us on our toes!

We went driving around the Campo's (villiages) where my grandparents had lived, and visited my second cousins and great aunt. It was interesting. They didn't know any English, so I had to speak Low-German the whole time. I was surprised how much I actually knew! It was facinating to learn about their culture. We also went into the spanish cities of Cuauhtemoc and Chihuahua. It was very interesting! The food was AMAZING!! Taco Bell will never taste as good anymore.

Well, I should do some unpacking now. I moved all my stuff home at 1:00am the night before we left for Mexico, so all that stuff is jammed in my room and I need to sort it all out.
