I was looking through some of my Germany pictures today and I got a sudden pang of "I-want-to-go-back"-ness. Someday....
It was really neat yesterday how the sermon that was preached was exactly about what I've been learning in the last week or so. It was about Returning to God. And how God often uses troubles in the economy and the things that we depend on to give us a wake up call to come back to Him. I often struggle with going back to God after I've strayed away, because I always feel like I have to get it all together before I go to Him, and this last week, God reminded me again that if I could do it on my own, I wouldn't need Him. It's so basic, but it's one thing I have to be constantly reminded of.
Today is Rylan's 1st birthday party! Which reminds me that I must go shopping for a present for him. What does a one year old boy want for his birthday? 'Like anyone could ever know that!'...Ahhh yes........"Meine mule date sehe vie".."Tina, du groute, fatte! Kom hole deine uncast"...I'll stop now...until I can get my 'translator' to help me out.
